ALLITE® Inc. is proud to announce our partnership, as a major-level sponsor, with the EPFLoop team as they prepare to compete in the 2019 SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition on July 21, 2019. The student-led team recently revealed their prototype hyperloop pod, “Bella Lui,” at an unveiling event in Switzerland, showcasing bold new engineering choices that bring forth an innovative and ultralight design.
ALLITE began its partnership with EPFLoop in early 2019 and has been following the team’s advancements since their 3rd place win at the 2018 Hyperloop Pod Competition.
With this partnership, ALLITE is honored to contribute our own lightweight Super Magnesium™, which is being implemented in EPFLoop stability and brake designs.
“It has been inspiring for our team to see the EPFLoop students use the information they’re learning every day to develop this prototype and help shape the future of transportation,” said Morten Kristiansen, Vice President, Products and Marketing of ALLITE Inc. “We look forward to seeing where the future takes these students and are proud to support the success they’ve already accomplished in this recent pod reveal.”
